Non-profit lesson program

Zoey’s Legacy Society aims to provide accessible horseback riding opportunities for youth in our community, particularly those who may face financial or social barriers to participating in equestrian sport.

Through weekly riding lessons and hands-on horsemanship education, participants will learn skills such as grooming, horse care, safety, and riding. Horses provide a unique opportunity for young people to develop confidence, responsibility, resilience, and emotional well-being.

The program will focus on creating a supportive environment where youth can build confidence while forming positive relationships with both horses and mentors.

Zoey’s Legacy Society was inspired by a beloved lesson horse who has helped riders build confidence and connection through horses for many years. The program seeks to continue that legacy by making equestrian experiences more accessible to youth in the community.

Participants may include youth who are new to horseback riding, youth experiencing financial barriers to sport participation, or those who could benefit from a confidence-building activity in a supportive outdoor environment.
